Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born July 7, 1968 was an American actress. She is most well-known for her role on CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst in DuPage County Illinoisclose to Chicago She was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the child of teachers parents, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. She is of Swedish origin and has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: College and early career
She began her journey to Hollywood as a background actress in the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. Later she followed her older sister Betsy to Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
